At Miriam’s request, we celebrated her birthday quietly at home. Mikaela and I made the cake together, and Mikaela did the decorating all by herself. Miriam and I got to enjoy dinner at our favorite restaurant, Cassis, while Mikaela’s favorite babysitter, Emily Intfen, had pizza and watched movies with the kids.
