As you can see from the picture, Mikaela is THRILLED to be a big sister. She couldn’t wait to come to the hospital to see her baby brother Jonathan. Marcia Perkins was a huge help, picking up Mikaela at the CDC and bringing her to the hospital.

Jonathan Marcus Rittmaster was born at 8:11 a.m. this morning.  He weighs 7 pounds, 5.8 ounces and is 19 inches long.
Jonathan and Miriam are both doing well.  We’re at Overland Park Regional Medical Center – we’ll probably be there until Monday.
