When Mikaela got home from the hospital yesterday, we had a special treat waiting for her. For the last several months, every trip to Costco included an extended stop at the child-size drumset on display. Yesterday, Mikaela came home to her very own drumset.

Today, Miriam stayed home with Mikaela for a Mommy-Daughter day (we had to re-schedule our trip to Chicago, since all three of us are on antibiotics and Mikaela’s surgery is scheduled for next week).
