Mikaela has been working hard on her reading all year. She’s a perfectionist, which makes it frustrating for her to sound words out. She’s made real breakthroughs lately, getting much more comfortable and confident with her reading. Last night, she decided to read one of Jonathan’s favorite books to Grandma Marcia and Jonathan (and she kept reading, even when Jonathan decided that he would rather play). I caught most of it on video
Aaron is relaxing while the kids nap, between the Bar Mitzvah this morning and the party this evening.

Aaron Had a great Shabbat dinner with Dad, followed by fun movie night with the kids. Oh, and Miriam can try making new desserts like that dark chocolate-amaretto creme brûlée anytime!

Aaron Doc took care of my toe this morning. So far, so good. We'll see how it feels the first time I need to change the dressing. I'm thinking I might try Roquefort next.
