Lenny’s Book

About ten years ago, I had the privilege of doing some computer database and filing work for MacArthur Fellow Leonard Zeskind and the Institute for Research and Education in Human Rights. The work I did was one tiny part of a career’s worth of dedicated research and thoughtful analysis by Lenny. One product of that research and analysis, Blood and Politics: The History of the White Nationalist Movement from the Margins to the Mainstream, finally has a release date – May 12, 2009. I can’t say that this will be the feel-good book of the summer. But it promises to be a compelling read. Publisher’s Weekly says, ” Zeskind’s rigorously researched and eloquent book is a definitive history of white nationalism and contains alarming warnings for a resurgence in racist politics.”
