Missouri Bar S&SF Fun

Miriam and I are at the Missouri Bar Solo & Small Firm Conference at the Lake of the Ozarks. It’s been a good conference so far. We’ve made some new friends, renewed some old friendships, and learned some new things that will be helpful in both of our law practices. We also got a chance to have some fun. At right, you can see some of the fun in the Solosez Photo Album. All of the pictures were taken on Friday night. We had dinner with friends from the Solosez e-mail list group: Reid Trautz, Bruce Dorner, Matt Homann, and Natalie Thornwell. After dinner, Reid, Matt, Natalie, Miriam and I hit the Lake of the Ozarks go-kart ciruit. We visited three different tracks, and while Matt was probably the victor at the first track, I took three out of the last four laps on the final two tracks. Therefore, I am claiming victory in the Solosez Cup. I look forward to defending my title against a larger field next year.
