Mikaela has one game left in her second season of basketball at the Jewish Community Center. This season, all of the kids have really improved skill-wise. They’re more confident shooting the ball overhand, they (mostly) pass the ball to each other more readily, and they actually dribble (at least sometimes). Defense still has a ways to go, and figuring out the right place to be on the court on offense when they don’t have the ball is taking some time to understand. But the most important thing is that Mikaela is having fun, playing hard, and doing her best every week.
