Sorry it’s been so long since Ive posted – I’ll try and get you all caught up. We had a very nice Chanukah holiday season, full of holiday parties, at the Rittmaster house. We had a nice long visit from Grandma Mouse, and Paca Steve. Uncle Gabe, and Uncle Eli were able to join us for part of the holiday to make for a Holmes family reunion. We started our Chanukah celebrations with our traditional Rittmaster/Hellman Chanukah party at Rick & Teresa’s house. Then, we welcomed our new neighbors the Alexander’s so the Mikaela could teach her new non-Jewish best friends about Chanukah.
And we celebrated the last night of Chanukah at Grandma Marcia and Zaydie Larry’s house, along with Aunt Martie, Uncle Bob, and Cousin Rylei, visiting from Dallas.
After all of us taking turns battling the flu that made the rounds here in town, we turned our attention to the beginning of the new semester. Mikaela got another good report card from school and Jonathan’s assessment shows that his development is right on schedule. Mikaela has Girl Scout cookies to deliver for the first time. And Jonathan has definitely warmed to his biggest birthday present – he and Kota have become fast friends. Kota even got to make a guest appearance at the CDC for Dinosaur Week.
