I got an E-mail from Monique with an update of what’s going on with them, so I thought I’d pass the info on to the group:
Corey is still working for SBC Global on a contract basis (luckily the strike was brief) and he and Monique are both doing Level 2 workshops with Improv Olympic. Corey’s recently added another improv group to his resume. He’s become part of an improv troupe at The Playground Theater, another well-respected improvisational comedy venue. The group will be together for at least a couple of months, and if it goes well they could become a house troupe at The Playground.
Monique’s show, “Bodily Functions”, continues to run through June 11. She’s also started working a new job, as a receptionist with Harley-Davidson Financial Services. Right now, it’s a temp job, but it looks like it’ll become a permanent position soon. Harley-Davidson in general, and the office Monique is working in in particular, has a reputation for promoting within the company. So this looks like a good opportunity for Monique – she says that several of the managers at her location started out as receptionists.
