Jonathan has a bad habit of playing in Spike’s water dish, and more than once we’ve caught him trying to eat Spike’s food. So now, as soon as he starts heading in the direction of Spike’s dishes, Miriam and I (and sometimes Mikaela too) are already telling him, “no,” and shaking our heads no.
The other night, Miriam noticed that Spike’s food bowl was empty. So she reached into the bag of dog food to scoop out some more - and Jonathan pointed at her, shook his head, and said, “no, no, no.”
Well, at least he’s learning.
