Jonathan Walked Yesterday!!

It was only a few steps, but he did it! Yesterday afternoon, most of the family was gathered in the living room at Grandma Marcia and Zaydie Larry’s house, sharing what we were thankful for this year. Jonathan was in the kitchen with Miriam. Starting from the baker’s rack, Jonathan let go and took about three steps before sitting back down on the floor. He hasn’t repeated the feat yet, but it’s clear that he can do it. He’ll be cruising around moving from handhold to handhold and get out into “open space”. He’ll stand for a moment and consider taking another step, but then decide that he’s unsure of himself and just sit down instead. But now that he’s taken a few steps on his own, I suspect he’ll be walking all over the place soon.
