Here’s Belle (from Beauty and the Beast) and her bumblebee friend, ready to head out for a night of trick-or-treating. We were sure that Jonathan would HATE wearing that bee costume, but he loved every minute of it. I even got him to say “buzz buzz buzz.” 
Miriam took the kids trick-or-treating around the neighborhood, while I stayed home to hand out candy. Jonathan chattered away (in the pre-talking, not the shivering, way) the whole time. Mikaela was a sweetheart, always saying thank you and showing remarkable restraint while her friend grabbed huge handfuls of candy.
