Mikaela is Five-Years-Old!

Mikaela had a great time celebrating her fifth birthday over the weekend. She invited her friends from school to spend the afternoon playing at Eagles Gymnastics with her. As you can see from that picture, they got in quite a workout before it was time for birthday cake and presents. The kids loved sliding and swinging into the foam pit, jumping on the trampolines, and playing hide-and-seek in the dark. Mikaela was quite proud that, as the last one found, she “won” hide-and-seek.

Then, last night, Grandma Marcia, Zaydie Larry, Bubbie, Aunt Judy and Uncle Lloyd came over for dinner to celebrate again. Mikaela was excited to receive a copy of “The Jungle Book,” her favorite Disney movie that she didn’t own yet, from Aunt Judy & Uncle Lloyd (conveniently released by Disney just this past week). She also modeled her new Snow White dress-up clothes and led the adults in her own version of the story of Snow White and the Seven “Dorfs”.

We still have one more party to go - cake with her Pre-K class this afternoon.
