Yesterday was Mikaela’s end-of-the-year dance recital. We were treated to two “Acts.” The first showed us some examples of the kinds of things that they did during an ordinary dance class period. Then, for the second Act, we got to see the development of butterflies from caterpillars in dance. Mikaela was very excited to get to wear “amtentas” for the show. Finally, at the end, the teachers invited the students’ family members to join them on stage for one of the students’ favorite dance activities - freeze dance. Samantha got up on stage with Mikaela, and the two of them had a ball freeze dancing.
Zaydie Larry took video while I got still shots of the show. I’ll post some video here as soon as I can get it transferred to the computer, probably sometime this weekend.
