Miriam and I took advantage of Grandma Sali’s visit to KC and went out to dinner and to see a show last night. We had tickets to Late Night Catechism II at Union Station, courtesy of one of Miriam’s clients (they print the playbills). We had dinner at the Union Cafe, because we didn’t get our act together in time to get a reservation at Pierpont’s. We won’t make that mistake again. Union Cafe was OK, but we’ve eaten at Pierpont’s before and it is MUCH better (and not really that much more expensive).
Our friends Aaron & Cristi Williams joined us for the show. It was VERY funny, and the City Stage Theater is really a great little theater. Sight lines and sound were terrific and the seats were comfortable. The show ran two hours, and the time flew by. Thanks again to Grandma Sali for babysitting so that we could spend the evening laughing with a nun
