We’re in the midst of the weekend-long celebration of Mikaela’s 4th birthday. Yesterday, we brought a princess birthday cake (that’s cake #1) to the CDC to celebrate her birthday at school. Then, today, we had the kid birthday party at Eagle’s Gymnastics & Dance Center. The kids had a great time running around and playing for an hour or so. Then we had cake and apple juice and opened birthday presents. For the kids, Miriam made a Dora the Explorer birthday cake (cake #2).
I took lots of pictures - they’re in the new October 2006 photo gallery. We’re going to keep it pretty low-key this evening, but then there’ll be more partying tomorrow with Grandma Mouse(Sali), Grandma Marcia, Zaydie Larry, Uncle Matt, Aunt Sarah, and Cousin Sam coming for dinner and yet another princess birthday cake (that’ll make birthday cake #3).
