On Saturday, April 24 we had a baby shower for Matt & Sarah. They’re due in June, though we expect that Sarah will be delivering in early May (both Sarah and the baby are healthy and doing well). The shower was at Marcia & Larry Rittmaster’s house. Sarah’s not much of a fan of shower games, so we limited it to the practical - everyone shared a piece of child rearing advice and Matt and Sarah had to guess who was offering the advice. My advice was that anything that can’t be fixed with duct tape or super glue should be placed out of the baby’s reach, and then moved another three feet away.

Big news in the Matt & Sarah Camp! After a visit to the doctor yesterday, it looks like Sarah will be induced on Monday, May 10th. That’s (Great)Bubbie Jean’s birthday and she can’t think of a better birthday present. We are all excited! Matt and Sarah will take their Birthing Class on Saturday - no need to take notes - everything will be fresh in their minds!
