Cute Mikaela Notes

Just so ALL of the recent posts aren’t downers, here’s a few random cute/amazing Mikaela notes:

1. Monday night, after a day of being sick, Mikaela headed for her own bedroom after brushing her teeth instead of to our bedroom - despite being invited to sleep in Mommy & Daddy’s bed.  We asked her why and she said, "’Cause I don’t want to throw up."  Logical.  In her mind, the last time she’d slept in our bed, she’d thrown up.  Better to sleep in her own bed and be safe from that.  We convinced her that it wasn’t the bed’s fault, and she slept just fine in our bed Monday night.

2.  Tuesday night, when Grandma Marcia and Zaydie Larry brought Mikaela back home after dinner, Grandma Marcia dropped her key to our house as she was getting out of the car.  When she couldn’t find the key at first, Mikaela said, "That’s OK.  Just call Mommy at (816)xxx-xxx." (and proceeded to rattle off Miriam’s cellphone number).  Not only did we have no idea that she knew Miriam’s cell number, we’d never even tried to teach it to her! (Oh - and Grandma Marcia found the keys on the floor of the car shortly thereafter).

3.  On Wenesday night, Mikaela had dinner at synagogue while Mommy and Daddy convalesced at home.  She had pizza, and then M&M’s for dessert.  She impressed the older kids by naming off the M&M colors — in Spanish!  (Yeah Dora!).  She also go to play Legos with her cousin Margo (who was there waiting for Hebrew School to start).
