Mikaela’s January Update

January was an exciting month for Mikaela.  It started with a visit to Grandma Mouse’s over New Year’s weekend, where she also got to see Uncle Gabe and Uncle Eli.  When we got home, she started her enrichment classes at preschool.  On Mondays she has cooking class.  So far, she’s made things like colored popcorn balls, a fruit and yogurt parfait, a "cake sculpture", and a purple cow.  She also likes helping Mommy cook at home – especially cracking eggs!  But the most exciting thing has been the beginning of – wait for it – . . . . DANCE CLASS!!!!!  Every Thursday after naptime, Mikaela changes into her dance tights, tutu, and dance shoes and heads to dance class.  She was especially excited when the first day of dance class they started dancing to "Bibbity-Bobbity-Boo" from Cinderella.
